Steel A-string

The new Evah Pirazzi Gold steel A-string has been further improved to provide superior responsiveness thanks to our unique construction method.

This steel A-string has a grand, elegant and smooth tone even while being played in the higher register.

Developed for the player looking for something slightly warmer than the Passione steel A-string.

Great sound depth with no metallic sharpness to the ear.

The steel core A-String Evah Pirazzi Gold blends well with our other sets of strings, especially the Perpetual, Evah Pirazzi, Obligato and Passione strings.

The A- and D-strings have a high-tensile steel core and are wound with a precision chrome steel flat wire, while the G- and C-strings have a specially designed steel rope core with a top-quality tungsten winding.

The elegant sound of the new Evah Pirazzi Gold cello strings is clear, full, with character.

These new steel strings provide a variety of overtones with great projection – without any metallic sharpness.

Our new Evah Pirazzi Gold cello strings are extremely responsive and react quickly over the entire dynamic range; even with very gentle bow pressure.
